William Hill Bet Builder Guide

Football betting has changed over the years and the introduction of the Bet Builder feature has become one of the most used features in our experience, we are going to take a look at the Bet Builder feature on William Hill.

From our experience, we like to use the William Hill Bet Builder Bet Builder to combine various games from all over Europe into one bet and it’s very popular within our community. For example, with hundreds of markets offered, we can pick the exact selections we want to include within our cross-game bet builder.

Access to William Hill Bet Builder

To access the William Hill Bet Builder, simply head to the website or app, click on the football tab and you’ll then see a “Bet Builder tab”, this will show you the games that are available for your bet builder. I’ve shared a screenshot below of the type of markets I tend to use in our bet builder tips;

As you will see, there are plenty of markets to choose from, within our bet builder we’ve included the more familiar markets such as BTTS – “Both Teams To Score” and “Match Total Goals”, we’re also able to include more player specific markets such as “Player Shots on Target”, “Player to be carded” and the popular “To score Or Assist”. In addition, you’re also able to use your “Football Acca Bet Boost” to increase the odds, our screenshot shows odds of 103.33/1, we can apply our bet boost and take the odds of 118.36/1.

Bet Builder Tips & options

Within our bet builder, the greatest number of selections we’ve included for one individual game is five (Aston Villa v Olympiacos), to qualify for the William Hill Bet Builder feature, you must choose between two and eight selections, if you select fewer than two or more than eight, you’ll be unable to add your selections to the betting slip.

There are two types of bet builders, a build your own which is detailed above and also a pre-built bet builder, these can be found under the Bet Builder tab on the website and app.

Once you have placed your bet builder, you can then sit back and enjoy watching those green ticks appear next to your selections as the games play out, William Hill also offer a cash-out feature on our bet builders, so the money is there to be taken whenever you’re ready to cash-out.

Bet Builder types

Football isn’t the only sport where you can use the Pre-Built and Build your own Bet Builder, William Hill offer this feature in various sports including Horse Racing betting, NBA, NFL, Tennis, Cricket, Formula 1 and Darts to name a few.

What is a bet builder?

A bet builder allows you to take control of what you want to include within your bet, it allows you to add multiple markets from one match into a single bet. For example, if you think a game will be full of goals, corners and cards, you can combine all three into one bet, such as Both teams to score, each team to receive a certain number of cards and total number of corners. Once you’ve put all this into the Bet Builder feature, you’ll then be supplied with your odds.

What should I consider when creating my bet builder?

For us, it’s all about the research, we like to get almost a base bet in which we feel confident with our selections which tend to be the more familiar markets, “Both Teams To Score” and “Total Corners” etc, if you feel like you want to boost the odds, William Hill offer various markets giving you the opportunity to do just that. We would take a look at players that are in good form in front of goal, adding the “Score or Assist” market would increase your odds, if you still want more, the “Player to be carded” is always a good one to include, look out for how often the player is carded but also who they are up against, it’s always good to find a player who likes to draw quite a few fouls.

Can I use the William Hill bet builder on one game?

Absolutely, the example shown above is just how we like to go about creating a bet builder when there’s a few games that we like the look of. There are also times where there’s only one game that we want to have a bet on, maybe a game from Monday Night football in the Premier League. If that’s the case, we would then create our bet builder to include at least five selections and make sure we have minimum odds of 3/1 (4.0), therefore if one leg doesn’t win on our bet builder, we will be refunded our stake as a free bet up to £20, thanks to the “Acca insurance” promotion from William Hill.
