A busy weekend of football domestically and across the continent is behind us but there is plenty to look forward to on Monday.

Bet of the day

MK Dons to beat Crawley Town – 6/4

Crawley Town crept into the League Two play-off positions with a 2-0 win over Grimsby on the final day of the season but they could be out of their depth in their semi-final against MK Dons.

With Barrow drawing 1-1 with Mansfield in their final fixture, Crawley managed to sneak into seventh spot but they had gone four matches without a win before their triumph over Grimsby.

They have not been particularly sturdy at Broadfield Stadium, having won only three of their last 10 home fixtures in League Two, and MK Dons are worth a bet to win the first leg of this semi-final tie.

MK Dons have posted wins over Walsall, Forest Green and Harrogate recently and have looked dangerous going forwards, netting 20 goals in their last six fixtures.

They were 2-0 winners over Crawley when the teams met at Stadium MK in December and they can again come out on top.

Special of the day

Bet Builder – Lille to win, both teams to score and Jonathan David to score – 4/1

In Ligue 1, Lille are in prime position to finish fourth and can strengthen their grasp with a victory over Lyon on Monday night.

Lille have won four of their last five contests in the French top flight, whereas Lyon are locked in mid-table obscurity and lost their last away game 4-1 against Paris Saint-Germain.

A Lille win is a good way to start the Bet Builder, which should also feature a bet on both teams to score.

The goals have been flowing in Lyon’s matches recently – their last four games have produced a total of 21 goals and each of them saw the net bulge at both ends.

Jonathan David has struck 17 goals in Ligue 1 this term and could be the greatest beneficiary of a free-flowing game, so complete the Bet Builder with the Canadian to score at any time.

Long shot of the day

Jean-Philippe Mateta to score first in Crystal Palace vs Man United – 9/2

Manchester United’s top-six credentials will come under the microscope when they visit Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday night and the Red Devils could be in trouble.

The Eagles have looked rejuvenated under Oliver Glasner, winning three and drawing one of their last four top-flight fixtures.

United, meanwhile, have won just one of their last seven games in 90 minutes and could struggle to keep Palace quiet.

Jean-Philippe Mateta has flourished under Glasner, scoring in each of his last five home league games, and he is worth a bet to open the scoring at Selhurst Park.
