The mainstream sports schedule is lighter with the NBA Finals wrapped and the suddenly dramatic Stanley Cup Final nearing conclusion, but there’s plenty of the buffet of bets to consume with college and MLB daytime baseball and the WNBA still cruising along.
Here’s a look at a few options we like on today’s spread, with a three-pack of two-bet SGPs:
New York Mets at Texas Rangers
Don’t look now, but the Mets are steamrolling to the end of June with a chance to stretch their winning streak to eight.
The down-on-luck Rangers blew a four-run lead and have lost five in a row thanks in large part to an offense approaching the Mendoza Line in team batting average this month and a bullpen with an ERA trending toward 5.00.
New York is hammering the ball since adding J.D. Martinez to the daily lineup and jumped into the top 10 in home runs (82) by delivering on the road. The Mets are sixth in MLB and third in the National League with 168 RBIs in road games.
With the pitching matchup in toasty Texas on Wednesday night, fly balls are the order of the day. That’s likely to equate to runs, especially with the Mets holding their own against left-handed starting pitching this season – which includes a ripening .975 OPS this month.
If the Rangers can keep up against a familiar foe – former A’s starter Sean Manaea – Texas still has the hurdle of closing out the game with a weak relief core.
SGP Mets money line -110 and over 8.5 runs (+242)

Washington Mystics at Indiana Fever
Indiana is a home favorite with the Washington Mystics (2-12) trying to return the favor for the Fever and Caitlin Clark claiming the first matchup this month in D.C.
Clark had 30 in that game and had a big hand in the 85-83 victory that contributed to Washington starting the season 0-10.
While Washington has a two-game winning streak, Indiana is starting to click with a 4-2 mark in its past six games. A big focus during the short run of success for the Mystics is improved perimeter defense.
But they had no answer for Clark in the first meeting, when she drilled 7 of her 10 tries from 3-point range. No doubt the exaggerated focus on bringing physical energy against Clark continues tonight, the lean here is on the playmaker finding ways to deliver points – and racking up assists – either way.
Win probability suggests Indiana has a better than 60 percent chance of victory if you feel confident enough to pool our Clark bets on a moneyline wager.
SGP Caitlin Clark over 2.5 made threes, 8+ assists (+331)

Boston Red Sox at Toronto Blue Jays
Kevin Gausman (5-5, 4.08 ERA) starts for Toronto on Wednesday, and his season to date has been quite the adventure.
Gausman holds a record of 7-9 with a 4.44 ERA in 28 career outings (23 starts) against Boston.
Enter Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers, who has six doubles and a career .375 batting average in the matchup.
Gausman was able to get an out just once in four at-bats for Devers last season, and Boston’s slugger hit 12 of his 14 home runs this season against right-handed pitchers.
We are going to shun the HR odds on Devers at +350 for a percentages parlay play. He’s coming off of a two-hit game and has scored a run in more than half of Boston’s games this season.
SGP Rafael Devers to record 2+ hits and score a run, +279
