Two NFL fans appeared to sneak into the Super Bowl on Sunday night in a bid to avoid paying for tickets.

The dramatic final showdown saw the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 to win their third Super Bowl in five years.

But inside the 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium, two men apparently decided they didn’t want to pay an extortionate £10,000 for a ticket.

Writing on X, user Adam Smith under the handle @Smivy, posted to imply he and a friend had covertly slipped in to watch the world-famous event.

He wrote: ’10k my a**e,’ accompanied by an image of two men wearing lanyards covered with Sky Sports logos.

They both were smiling with their thumbs up in the image, which saw them wearing jumpers and caps also emblazoned with the broadcaster’s branding.

People on X congratulated the brazen men on their apparent feat.

One said: ‘What a jib. Greatest of all time maybe?’

Another added: ‘Just got out of bed to applaud you sir.’

Millions of eyes were on the Super Bowl last night not just for the sport, but to see the blossoming romance between Chiefs star Travis Kelce, 34, and singer Taylor Swift, also 34.

Usher’s half-time performance appeared to be overshadowed not only by the world watching Taylor’s every move, but also Beyoncé’s new album announcement in an advert.

After falling behind early on in the game, Kansas City managed to scrape their way back gaining a narrow victory at full time.

Taylor was seen jumping up and down in the crowd after her boyfriend’s victory and left the stands to rush over to kiss her boyfriend.

Travis later explained his bust-up with Chiefs head coach Andy Reid as tensions ran high during the game.

And tennis star Andy Murray jokingly congratulated Taylor on her ‘win’.
