Dinamo Minsk vs Hearts preview
The Europa Conference League finally gets underway this week and Hearts face a tricky task on the road to start.
The Jambos have really struggled at the start of this season and will be hoping this competition comes as a welcome distraction after a poor league opening.
They did at least end their eight-game losing run last time out, though a 1-1 draw at home to Ross County thanks to a 96th minute equaliser isn’t much to shout about.
Lawrence Shankland finally got off the mark with his first of the season but Hearts need more from him and his team-mates to get out the rut.
Interestingly, despite the tough trip on paper, Hearts actually go into this game as FAVOURITES.
Even though Dinamo Minsk are just three points off the top of the table with three games in hand and are more than halfway through their campaign.
Like Hearts, they were dumped out of Europa League qualifying – after two 1-0 defeats to Anderlecht – and it’ll be a tough task for them to progress too.

Tough
It’s just really difficult to have any faith in Hearts at the minute.
Facing Dinamo Minsk at home, given how the Jambos are playing at the minute, would be difficult. Away from home, it’s just really difficult to back them.
Hoping I’m wrong but there’s value in the home side winning. Though a Hearts win could kickstart their season.
